Who Do You Say That I Am?
This week's sermon explored the profound question Jesus asked His disciples in Caesarea Philippi: "Who do you say that I am?" We examined how God is building His church upon the foundation of personal revelation—not secondhand knowledge, but intimate, experiential knowledge of who Christ is to us. Just as God took intentional time to build Eve from Adam's rib before presenting her, God is carefully constructing each of us through a process that requires "digging deep." This foundation-building happens especially during our storms and trials, when the gates of hell seem to surround us. The sermon challenged us to understand that our spiritual building is only as strong as its foundation, and that foundation is the revelation of Jesus Christ working through us in every circumstance—not just when life is easy, but especially when we face our own Caesarea Philippi moments.
